About Us

Established in 2005, Footwise podiatry is a general podiatry practice that services the whole family. Diagnoses of your condition, treatment and long term goals are important to us. We promise to have an appointment available to you at a reasonable time – without having to wait weeks.

Our podiatrists have had a minimum of 3 years experience in the hospital system and a minimum of 7 years in a private practice. We strive to do the best we can to exceed patients’ expectations and have them leaving with a smile on their faces.

Carol is the owner of Footwise Podiatry and has invested her life in helping the community with all their Footwise needs.

Carol is very capable as a business owner, a great people person and a caring podiatrist.  She has worked both in the public sector and private podiatry clinics for the past 18 years.  She enjoys interacting with people of all ages and diagnosing painful problems.

Carol is interested in lower limb biomechanics, flat feet, children related problems and general foot care.  Carol is an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW) and continually develops her knowledge by attending conferences, seminars and workshops.

Duyen (Ying) Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Podiatry degree acquired through the University of Newcastle and practising as a Podiatrist for the past 3 years. Prior to obtaining her degree in Podiatry, Duyen worked as a Diversional Therapist working within Aged Care communities. It was in this position she worked towards promoting self-empowerment and self-actualisation through leisure experiences that enhance patient’s physical, social and emotional well-being.

Duyen values achieving optimal health for patients through a holistic approach, and has a strong interest in the Diabetic foot, general foot care for the aged and lower limb biomechanics. She is also an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW), and endeavours to continually develop her clinical skills through attending workshops and seminars.

Vanessa graduated in 2002, and have been working in private podiatry clinics for the past 17 years. I thoroughly enjoy diagnosing painful problems, ensure the patient understands why the pain is developing, and attempt to rectify the problem as soon as possible. Sport injuries, children related problems and flat feet are my particular areas of interest. I have cared for a variety of people, from professional sport players to school children and in between. I have a passion for international aid and enjoy working in developing countries. I value communication, accuracy, thoroughness and detail during podiatry treatments.
