Established in 2005, Footwise podiatry is a general podiatry practice that services the whole family. Diagnoses of your condition, treatment and long term goals are important to us. We promise to have an appointment available to you at a reasonable time – without having to wait weeks.
Our podiatrists have had a minimum of 3 years experience in the hospital system and a minimum of 7 years in a private practice. We strive to do the best we can to exceed patients’ expectations and have them leaving with a smile on their faces.
Carol is the owner of Footwise Podiatry, and has invested her life in helping her clients with all of thier footwise needs. Carol is both a capable business owner, a great people person, and a caring podiatrist.
Anika has worked in varied administration and health care reception roles for over 15 years. She enjoys interacting with people of all ages and loves making a difference in her community. Having moved from Newcastle in 2013, she now calls Sydney home, living locally in the Canada Bay area. She enjoys spending time with her partner, going camping and looking after her 2 pet cats and 4 bunnies.
Duyen (Ying) Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Podiatry degree acquired through the University of Newcastle and practising as a Podiatrist for the past 3 years. Prior to obtaining her degree in Podiatry, Duyen worked as a Diversional Therapist working within Aged Care communities. It was in this position she worked towards promoting self-empowerment and self-actualisation through leisure experiences that enhance patient’s physical, social and emotional well-being.
Duyen values achieving optimal health for patients through a holistic approach, and has a strong interest in the Diabetic foot, general foot care for the aged and lower limb biomechanics. She is also an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW), and endeavours to continually develop her clinical skills through attending workshops and seminars.
Vanessa graduated in 2002, and has been working in private podiatry clinics for the past 17 years. She thoroughly enjoys diagnosing painful problems, ensuring the patient understands why the pain is developing, and attempts to rectify the problem as soon as possible. Sport injuries, children related problems and flat feet are her particular areas of interest. She has cared for a variety of people, from professional sport players to school children and the in between. She has a passion for international aid and enjoys working in developing countries. Vanessa values communication, accuracy, detail and thoroughness during podiatry treatments.
